An Intimate Affair at Frederik Meijer Gardens

Rick and Katrina were married during an exciting Saturday evening at Frederik Meijer Gardens. The day was full of uncertain weather which lead to a last minute location change for their ceremony. After spending some time in Sculpture Park with Rick and Katrina prior to the ceremony, the weather forced the ceremony inside the Tropical Observatory. After the ceremony the weather cleared, allowing us to move to the Farmhouse area of the Sculpture park where the late afternoon light was perfect for outdoor wedding images. Their small 70+ person wedding allowed Rick and Katrina the flexibility to have many outdoor and indoor photos taken with their closest friends and relatives. The evening culminated with stunning images of Rick and Katrina dancing amongst their family inside the Frederik Meijer Garden Observatory.
