Downtown Grand Rapids is one of our favorite places for engagement photos. We always have a plan for our sessions, but sometimes the weather doesn't like to cooperate. A few weeks ago, Nick and Ashley scheduled their session for on a Saturday. The morning looked fantastic, but around 11am or so the snow started. And then the wind came. So we had to call an audible for their locations. We ended up walking through the Skywalk through a bunch of different downtown Grand Rapids buildings and the first session turned out fantastic. We would walk, find a great little spot for photos and then shoot. We'd then move on to another spot, etc.

The outdoor portion of their session we rescheduled for the following weekend and providentially the sun was out and the weather was beautiful. During their second session we spent time at the Blue Bridge in downtown again and then headed out to a private barn where we had these two hiking through the snow for some fun outdoor images.
