James + Tanina | Wedding At Watermark Country Club

James and Tanina planned a wedding day that everyone would enjoy. A day with a small wedding party, ceremony and reception at the same location, dinner, dancing and drinks. What could be better?

They envisioned their “first look” in downtown Grand Rapids and then photos out on the golf course at Watermark Country Club, where both the ceremony and reception were held.

While we were able to capture some images of the greenspace at Watermark, the weather did not cooperate during much of the day. However, getting ready at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids meant we had great space to photograph the bride and groom as well as their wedding party.

The day was laid back with approximately 80 guests, wedding party photos before the ceremony began and a small number of family portraits.

Many thanks to the amazing team of Dan and Bud, two photographers I love working with time and time again. They helped create a collection of images that will stand the test of time.
