Matt + Traci | Wedding at Grand Haven Golf Club

Working with Matt and Traci over the past few months has been a blast for Rebecca and I. In case you did not see their firefighter engagement photos, I would suggest checking out the photos when you have a few minutes. But first, we met these two because of Nick and Ashley, who were married the same weekend, referred us to Matt and Traci when they became engaged in 2014. They were in the process of planning all the details of a wedding ceremony in Allendale and wedding reception at Grand Haven Golf Club. We were able to offer encouragement and suggestions about their wedding day and they planned a wonderful day.

We began by meeting at a home in Allendale where hair and makeup were being finalized for Traci and her bridesmaids. They arranged for Elite Limo Service to be with them throughout the day and transported first the ladies to our photo location and then eventually the guys to the same location all prior to the ceremony. One wonderful touch was Traci made individual cups for each of the bridesmaids and groomsmen that reflected that person's sense of humor (check out the photo below). Matt, Traci and their wedding party were ready to go when it came to the ceremony and photos at Grand Haven Golf Club just prior to the reception.

The ceremony was wonderful and was presided over by Traci's uncle. Having a family member as part of the wedding ceremony is always a wonderful touch for those that can incorporate it into their wedding day.

Following the ceremony we headed out on golf carts around Grand Haven Golf Club for additional portraits and before they knew it, they were ready to be announced to their friends and family waiting for them at the golf club. The details of jenga pieces for the guest book, an ice cream cake with a fire engine on top, to the dance floor decorations were such wonderful touches.
