Ben + Kari | Wedding Ceremony in Hudsonville
Ben and Kari are such a inspiring story!
We first met Ben when he applied for an internship with my wife while she was consulting for a non-profit called Life Matters Worldwide. The ministry is based in Grand Rapids and they were looking for someone with video production and media skills to help in a few areas. Ben applied for the internship and was a great fit.
As we got to learn more about his story, we found that he came to the US after losing his parents in Uganda to AIDS. However, God was watching over Ben as he was able to meet a missionary family from Chicago that has now become his family. Through the process he came to the US to finish his last high school class and then was enrolled at Calvin College where he graduated with a film and video production degree.
During his time at Calvin he met a young lady named Kari from Hudsonville and he was never the same. These two are an amazing example of how God's plan for each of us spans continents and oceans.
Ben and Kari held a intimate ceremony in Hudsonville with close friends and family to celebrate their legal marriage. They will be holding a ceremony and reception later this year where they will make their marriage "official". It was such a blessing being a part of their wedding ceremony and we pray these images will be a blessing for years to come!
